Sam Hardy was a quiet, peaceful fellow, who must have cared greatly for his U. City High. He retired at 59, and spent all his years in
U. City. We contacted him to attend the 50th reunion but he had developed early signs of Parkinson's and possible Alzheimer
disease. He made a contribution to the reunion knowing that he wasn't going to attend. Many of his classmates never knew him,
and no doubt failed to see how this gentleman had contributed to all our lives by his simple example of kindness and unselfish
life-style. He will be missed. Submitted by Buddy Cooper
