I graduated from Washington University in 1961 with an A.B. in French and a three-month old baby daughter. I married her father, Mordecai Blaustein, a New Yorker, between my sophomore and junior years in college and his sophomore and junior years in medical school. |
Starting in 1961, we moved around a bit: to Boston, then to Bethesda, MD, and next to Cambridge, England. We returned to St. Louis in 1968. I then started on a new career path, one of two in quasi-academic fields and business. I spent eight years as an editor at an educational laboratory, working in the area of aesthetic education. That stint ended when we moved to Baltimore, MD in 1980. |
