Almost immediately after high school graduation, enrolled in
the United States Army as a Combat Engineer and went to
Combat Engineer training at Ft. Leonardwood, Missouri for
six months. (Almost fell off a bridge.) Started college in
January of 1958, graduated Washington University School of
Law in June of 1964. Worked for a law firm until 1977 at which
time, with one other lawyer, I formed a partnership, still in
business and there are 20 lawyers (11 partners). Did general
trial work until the last few years, now just divorce cases.
Blessed with a great wife (Margie Summers from Chicago), 3
wonderful daughters and 3 terrific grandsons. Love being with
my wife and family, play lots of tennis, read a lot (mostly
historical stuff), love good movies and the Cardinals (in spite
of Larussa who is almost as worthless as our current
president.)
