Marty Seligsohn passed away Saturday, February 24, 2007, in Greenwood Village, CO. This
was written up in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch on 2/28/2007. I also talked to his brother Larry
with whom he was living in Greenwood. I talked to sisters Renee & Roger Weinberger in AZ
and Francine & Fabian Attoun in University City, Mo.

Jay Nelson and I have had great memories of Marty: Marty was a good friend and a great
guy. I have kept in touch with him and his brother, Larry, throughout the years. I talked
to him recently at the hospital.
I remember in high school that Marty didn't have a car growing up and Jay Nelson and I
would drive him around. He loved to hang out at Ed's Pool Hall, go to the race track and
even book sports with a bookie.
That's why we nicknamed Max (The Bookie).
Jay Marty and I drove from St. Louis to Acapulco in the early 60's for a month. Marty,
Marty Gelber and I took another trip to Mexico. Also Marty, Jay and I took a canoe trip
down the current river. On the first day of a 3-day trip our canoe hit a tree that was in the
water. Jay and I went swimming after our gear. We couldn't find our canoe or Marty.
