Gabe Kingsley died on May 29, 2007. He was divorced and was survived by his daughter Shana and his sisters Michele Kingsley and Claudia Kingsley. He was living in San Francisco at the time of his death (Barbara Klearman Bisno, compiled from his obituary in the Post-Dispatch and other sources). |
What I am feeling right now is hard to put into words. Gabe and I became good friends over the last two years working on the Class of '57 Website. He was my "rock" on technical issues, and a great contributor of information and facts about departed and missing classmates. He was one of the few individuals that had a copy of the Class database. We wrote often, and talked on the phone a few times. I joked with him about his "NOW" photo since he had lost his hair. Sadly, I haven't been able to find that photo, but I am still looking for it. I think our mutual friend Donalee Houston Echols might have it . He was always positive and upbeat and never mentioned being sick. I will miss him very much. My condolences to his family.
