After UCHS graduation, attended Brandeis U. in Waltham, Ma. (Boston area.) Wonderful experiences: Eleanor Roosevelt and David Ben Gurion on campus, Joan Baez singing in Cambridge, Malcolm X speaking at Harvard, JFK rally in Boston Garden night before he won the '60 election. Watched Ted Williams at Fenway Park; Cousy, Russell and Celtics beating the Hawks. Civil Rights sit-ins, plus picketing and demonstrating on many other social issues.
