Charles Naumer lived across the street from me
(on Teasdale) all my life. He went to the Univ. of
Colorado in Boulder and ended up living there
for the balance of his life. Unfortunately this was
for a short time. He died when he was 32 years
old - from lung cancer - and he was never
around cigarettes. That would be about 1971. He
left a wife and two little kids, a boy and a girl.
Probably his biggest moment at U. City was
when he made the varsity basketball team. He
didn't play a lot but the pride he carried with him
by making varsity went with him for a long time.
