Nancy Fox died in 2002, from ovarian cancer.
She was adopted by her step father after her
father was killed in World War II. Her husband
preceded her in death by 12 years. In 1985,
using her middle name as her last name, Nancy
Joyce founded Kids Internationally Distributed
Superstation, a nonprofit organization that
worked with children to produce videos on world
peace and environmental protection. She held
the first ever children's party in Moscow's Red
Square and constructed mazes from laminated
posters done by children, including one at
Laumeier Sculpture Park in St. Louis.
