Connie Movitz Neusner. I live in Westboro, Ma, with my husband Milton. We have been married 46 years. We have a married son David, age 45. Two daughters, Julie age 44 and married, and Susan age 40. We also have 4 grandchildren. We have been in New England 25 years. My husband was from the Boston area. I have been an advocate for developmental disabilities in children and adults. Our daughter Susan is Autistic, and lives in a group home in our area. I have bought and sold antiques, decorated and sold homes. I have done community work. Traveled with the Edgar Snow Foundation from Kansas City, touring hospitals and schools in Asia. Also, travelled Europe with my daughter while she lived there with her family. When I sent a picture of Blackberry Lane, I was reminded of the social dance class in the gym. I think it was sixth grade. My partner was picked, and I was delighted it was Harvey Friedman. I had a crush on him for two years, but he never knew it. I was much too shy to tell him, and later he was my first date. I rarely see anyone since I live away. However, my brother lives in St.Louis and sees some old friends and he is my tie to the past. As I roam the yearbook, many faces bring back great memories. Some of the recent pictures on the web site have been a great way to bring me into the present. The stories have been interesting and fun to read, as well as sad. Unfortuately, many of our fellow students are not here 50 years later. Thanks to all for your dedication with the web site, and reunion plans. Its been great pushing my button of memories. Best wishes to all Connie Movitz Neusner. P.S. I am trying to make the reunion, but just found out my neice is getting married that weekend at West Point. She is 47 and getting married for the first time. She is a full Colonel in the Air Force. Any private jets out there ? |
