Elaine was beautiful both inside and out. She was really a humble person, and she didn't let her good looks go to her head. I met Elaine in 7th grade but I didn't know her very well at that time. I was in a bad automobile accident in the summer of that year, the accident was in the newspaper and Elaine called me to say she hoped I got better soon. I never forgot that. Over the years we had some very wonderful conversations. It gave me insight into what a great person she was. She had a lot of hard times in her life but always kept up her spirit and didn't complain. I saw her at the mall shortly before death and she knew she had a brain tumor. She said she was going to live every day the best she could ...She was one CLASSY LADY. (submitted by Sondra Bierman Baron) |
