After graduating University City High, I went to work as a secretary at a jewelry office downtown. Then I worked as a legal secretary in Clayton and also worked dowwntown for a bigger law firm. I met my husband and ended up moving to Kansas City. We got engaged and married in October of 1963. We adopted daughter and got her when she was 4 days old. It was so great. When she was 3 we adopted my son, who we also got when he was 4 days old. Both kids are grown and married and have kids of their own. |
