My daughter, now grown, of course, and a mother herself, lives in New Haven, CT, where her husband is a
physicist at Yale, and she is a stay-at-home mom. My son is a Sr.V.P. at a biotech company in
Cambridge, MA., his wife is a business consultant, and they have two children. New Haven and Boston
are, of course, frequent travel destinations!
Aside from our years here in Baltimore, we have also enjoyed time living in Berne, Switzerland and
Frankfurt, Germany (for business) and extensive travel for pleasure.
Since 1997, I've been doing volunteer work. A three-year stint as president of the local National Council of Jewish
Women section (the hardest job I ever had!); service on a number of other non-profit boards; and, for the last two
years, also, service on the Maryland State Attorney Grievance Commission Peer Review Panel, in which capacity I
hear cases brought against attorneys.
There I received a certificate in business from Goucher College, and went to work at the Black & Decker
Company, where I ended up running the day-to-day operations of a small private label turbine products
group. After that I became director of the Goucher business program I had attended, and after leaving that
position, I became director of marketing for a consumer electronics start-up company
