My daughter, now grown, of course, and a mother herself, lives in New Haven, CT, where her husband is a physicist at Yale, and she is a stay-at-home mom. My son is a Sr.V.P. at a biotech company in Cambridge, MA., his wife is a business consultant, and they have two children. New Haven and Boston are, of course, frequent travel destinations! |
Aside from our years here in Baltimore, we have also enjoyed time living in Berne, Switzerland and Frankfurt, Germany (for business) and extensive travel for pleasure. |
Since 1997, I've been doing volunteer work. A three-year stint as president of the local National Council of Jewish Women section (the hardest job I ever had!); service on a number of other non-profit boards; and, for the last two years, also, service on the Maryland State Attorney Grievance Commission Peer Review Panel, in which capacity I hear cases brought against attorneys. |
There I received a certificate in business from Goucher College, and went to work at the Black & Decker Company, where I ended up running the day-to-day operations of a small private label turbine products group. After that I became director of the Goucher business program I had attended, and after leaving that position, I became director of marketing for a consumer electronics start-up company |
