After my marriage of 35 years ended in 1999. I have continued my activities and done much traveling: four times in the Caribbean on a 60+ft schooner-camping at sea. One REALLY gets to know your fellow travelers well! Several trips to Europe-stayed in a castle in Umbria for 10 days, saw Rome on my own for 4 days, went to my daughter's wedding in Naples AND was in Milan for the birth of my grandson Andrew Maria. I also went to Poland to teach at an English language school for Polish children--outside of Krakow in a small town of Stary Sanz(2005).

As a family, we also lived in London, England and Melbourne, Australia. Sarah designs web pages and presently is working on a masters in interactive design. She is married to a web designer. Alyce is a CPA in international taxes for Ernst and Young in Milan, Italy . She married an Italian and now has a redheaded, blue-eyed boy who is a year old. Jo is an artist with a Bachelor's degree from U. of Michigan, a Masters in sculpture from Kent State and is now embarking on an MFA in sculpture from Hunter College, NY this fall.

I have taught aural skills at the Oberlin Conservatory, managed a youth orchestra for 13 years, taught at 2 Catholic elementary schools. (I am STILL at one of them!) and maintained a private flute studio. For a period of twenty years I was a flute teacher and woodwind coach at Interlochen Arts Center in Michigan.
