Occupation: Writer and Professional Storyteller In 1960 traveled to New York and worked for the American Zionist Organization at 515 Park Avenue where we were picketed by Arabs wearing green beanies. The address was significant because at that time we could lean out the window and watch the daily processions of the Khrushchev/Castro delegations on route to the United Nations. Had a brief interlude as a professional folk singer - guitar and all. Strange things happen to me; they always do. Moved to King of Prussia, Pennsylvania where I lived in a malevolent Haunted House for a year. Moved to Norristown, Pennsylvania wherein after attending a Science-Fiction Convention, I innocently purchased a bronze pendant with a pentagram on it. Unbeknownst to me, the pendant had words in Arabic and Hebrew for fear and madness etched on the back of it. (My Rabbi told me.) For years until I figured it out, horrendous events occurred to me and to my family whenever the pendant was worn or touched. We buried it in a vacant lot. Can you even wonder that I write and perform stories and that horror stories are my forte? |
